Description
Broken Fence Post Repair Spur
New slim-line galvanised steel broken fence post repair spur. 1000mm in length x 75mm x 45mm. Suitable for repairing 75 – 125mm timber fence posts. Makes easy work of repairing a broken post in the winds. Instead of replacing the wooden post you can fix a slim steel post down the back which supports above the rotten or broken part of the fence post. Fully galvanised finish to prevent rusting.
How To Install Metal Fence Post Repair Spurs
Simply dig out around the back of your rotten or broken fence post roughly 600mm down or as near as you can get. Now insert your repair spur behind the broken post. You should be left with roughly 400mm of the metal post left above the ground. Notice the pre-drilled holes, fix through using suitable fixings. Use a level to make sure your post and fence is up level and then pour in a bag of post mix or concrete. Back fill with spoil and make sure the area is firmly compacted down.

Mr Holden –
Used these a number of times now, they are fantastic!. Lots more fixing points than concrete. Easier to transport, no risk of them cracking before they get installed.
Recommended!. Good company too.

Superb product!

Great product, much easier than replacing a broken fence post. A little can-do attitude to break out the rear of the post, then set the spur in with a bag of post mix. I recon I’ll get another 20 years out of this one!

I spoke with Jason from Kudos Fencing Supplies as i wanted an all timber fence look, however i did not want the hassle of changing rotten posts later on in life. He suggested using these galvanised post repair spurs and fixing them to the timber posts before putting them in the ground. The results have been great. They are quite small in size so you don’t notice them much. Now i have a traditional timber fence with posts that wont snap once rotten. A brilliant idea and product. Thank you again, i will be in touch when i’m ready to change my gates.
