The Insulated pick axe from Sitemate made for contractors. A fibreglass handled pick axe insulated for the contracting industry providing safety at work. Complies with BS8020 1000v standards to help keep employees safe. Produced by Sitemate ensuring superior strength tools at all times.

Pick Axe Uses

Using a pick axe with the pointed edge is most often used to break up rocky surfaces or other hard surfaces such as concrete or hardened dried earth. The large momentum of a heavy pick axe on a small contact area makes it very effective for this purpose. The chiselled end is used for purposes including cutting through roots.
